Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice, in his memory, is suggested. Born Feb. 10, 1932, in Lawton, Okla., Troy was the son of Lila May and Troy B. Ketchum. He graduated from Lawton High School where he met the love of his life, Mary Lou Long, whom he married in 1950. After attending Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, Troy worked for Oklahoma Drug Sales and ascended to the position of president. He moved his family to Rhode Island in 1967 to assume the role of vice president of CVS Drug stores. In 1977, he founded his own company, KKM, and enjoyed a successful career until selling the business in 2003 to begin retirement. He and Mary Lou divided retirement years between Quechee, Vt., and Stuart, Fla. Troy and Mary Lou were avid golfers and members of Kirkbrae in Lincoln, R.I., Quechee Club in Vermont and Willoughby Country Club in Stuart, Fla. They loved to travel, entertain, were the life of the party and never encountered a single person who did not become a lifelong friend. Known as full of generosity, Troy supported an array of charitable organizations. He was selfless and considerate, giving of his time and expertise to serve on a number of boards. Of noticeable lifetime achievements, his most cherished role was that of husband, father, papa, son and dear friend. He will be missed by many. Rest well, Papa, we will miss your jokes, your songs and your love!
