Fort Worth, Texas - Stevey Lynn Durr passed away on June 17. Stevey Lynn was born in Paris, Texas on January 25, 1993.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gayla Ann Durr.
She is survived by her beautiful daughter, Naomi Musasa, and brother Ryan Paul.
Stevey Lynn is also survived by her (Aunt MeMe) -Brendolyn Potts, (Nanny)- Diane Pope as well as Aunts Vicki Block, Cheryl Davidson. Uncles- Buddy Cleghorn, Steve Blann, and Paul Gresham
Alongside is also her Godparents, Randy Lee and Mason Robertson, Father Figures- Richard Lakaff and Tony Gezella, and Sponsor/Friend, Masi Sweet.
Stevey Lynn had so many friends and family that are not listed, but please know you were near and dear to her heart, and she knew how much you loved and supported her.
Stevey Lynn attended Macarthur High School and was very active in the choir, receiving many choir medals. She won Irving’s Got Talent and tried out for a spot on the TV’s “The Voice.” Stevey Lynn blessed so many with her angelic voice and songwriting abilities. Oh, what we wouldn’t give to hear her sing one last time….
Stevey worked for MHMR of Tarrant County as a Recovery Support Peer Specialist, her desire was to help others in their journey to recovery.
Stevey was the most amazing mother daughter, sister, niece,cousin and friend anyone could ask for. She had a loving heart and was a ray of sunlight. Stevey touched many lives with her presence and her sweet memory will continue to live on, within us all. Rest in Peace Baby Girl.
A Celebration of Her Life willb e held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, July 6, in the Marty Leonard Community Chapel, 3131 Sanguinet Street, with a Service at the Grave to follow at 3:00 p.m. in Azleland Memorial Park.
