Dallas, Texas - Stephanie Anne Boyd Farmer went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 26. She was 75.
Born in Fort Worth, Stephanie grew up and went to public schools in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area before attending Tulane University in Louisiana. She retired from Halliburton, serving as a comptroller for over 25 years, and was a member of the Body of Christ Church in Dallas. Her interests included volunteering at her church, going to dinner with the grandkids, taking long walks in her neighborhood, and traveling.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Steve Boyd, Jr. and Delta Mae Glynn Boyd, ex-husband, Richard Farmer, and brother, Stephen Gregory Boyd.
In addition to her son, Charles Wade Farmer, Stephanie is survived by her grandsons, Joshua Charles Farmer and Jacob Lee Farmer; siblings, Elaine Frances Boyd Becker, Timothy Paul Boyd and his wife, Cheryl, Leigh Anne Breig and her husband, Jerry, Scott Michael Boyd and Delta Elizabeth Boyd Thomas and her partner Abel; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Following a committal service at 12:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, she will be entombed in the Mausoleum at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth.
