Fort Worth, Texas -- Sam Davis passed away Sunday afternoon, August 8, due to heart related conditions. He was 77. Family and friends will gather from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the Great Room at Robertson Mueller Harper. Sam retired in March 2019 after nearly 50 years in the underground utility industry. Since his retirement, he laughingly became proficient at watching as many movies as possible on the “Western” channel and consuming great quantities of strawberry milk shakes. Sam was a deeply caring man and could always be counted on whenever any crisis arose in his family. To Sam, family was more important than winning the lottery. He had a very private and deep faith in the Lord and the world will now have a hole in it from the absence of this loving, compassionate man. In addition to his wife of 33 years, Laura Lea Davis, Sam is survived by his son, Russell Davis; daughters, Jennifer and her husband, Kyle Faulkner, and Ashley Davis; grandchildren, Laura Cole, Madison Faulkner and Landon Faulkner; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Davis; brother, Glenn Davis; three nephews, five nieces and their families and many cousins. My Love: Now heaven pulled the curtain back and I know where you are. Remember you will always have my Love, no matter how near or far!
