FORT WORTH -- Roger Frank Marquardt went to be with the Lord on Monday evening, Jan. 18, 2016. Mr. Marquardt was 85 years old. Service: A Christian service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Marty Leonard Memorial Chapel, 3131 Sanguinet St. His family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to service time at the chapel. Military honors will be held at 10:15 a.m. Monday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas. Those wishing to attend should arrive by 10 a.m. in Lane B at the cemetery. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions, made by gift check, noted "In memory of Roger F. Remembered as our loving and caring husband and father, he put his family first and touched so many people in a positive way throughout his life. Roger served five years in the U.S. Air Force as a first lieutenant during the Korean War and retired after 38 years with Lockheed-Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Frank and Hattie Hottinger Marquardt; wife of 62 years, Lois A. Marquardt; three grandchildren; and sister, June Shadler. Survivors: Roger is survived by his seven children, Eileen Clark, Jeffery Marquardt, Charles Marquardt, Thomas Marquardt, Linda Auge, Christopher Marquardt and Michael Marquardt; 20 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
