FORT WORTH -- Richard Klompus died peacefully at his home during his 82 year Monday morning July 29, 2013. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Beth-El Section of Greenwood Memorial Park with Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker of Congregation Beth Israel, Colleyville, officiating. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to Community Hospice of Texas, in his memory, is suggested. Born March 2, 1931 in Chicago, Ill., Rick was the son of William and Carolyn Mendel Klompus. After retiring, he was an active volunteer. Survivors: His wife, Tina Schreier; his children, Barry Klompus and his wife, Nancy, and Lori Klompus Schumaker; step-children, Dean Schreirer and Holly Housewirth and her husband, Greg; and granddaughter, Jacqueline Housewirth.
