Fort Worth – Paul Vance Browning passed from this life Friday, Jan. 29. He was 83. Born in Franklin, North Carolina, Paul was the son of Harley R. and Ann Reid Browning. He graduated from Bethel High School in 1956. In 1969, he and his family moved to Fort Worth. Paul loved old cars, restoring several, and enjoyed being a member of the Fort Worth Model A Club. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gwen Browning Sparrow of Birmingham, Alabama. In addition to his children, Jimmy Browning and his wife, Pam, LeAnna Browning Sharp and her husband, Kent, and Barry Browning, Paul is survived by his granddaughter, Mindy Ford; grandson, James Landry and his wife, Emily; and great-grandchildren, Colby and Kinsley. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday.
