Fort Worth – Nancy Nell Beaver Barton passed away peacefully at her home Monday morning, June 13.
A Service at the Grave will be held at 12:00 pm (noon) Thursday at Laurel Land Cemetery.
Born in Grandview, Nancy lived her life in Fort Worth. She was an administrator with World Service Life Insurance Company for 25 years. She then became an administrative assistant with Carpet Services for 10 years before deciding she was not ready for retirement and was a substitute secretary at various Fort Worth ISD schools.
Nancy loved meeting people, helping her friends and family, loving her animals, traveling, gardening, and baking. She was best known for her chocolate cream pies and banana pudding.
For the past 40 year, she loved going to the family farm to raise a garden and take care of the various animals who resided at the farm. She always shared the produced that she raised and loved to talk about her donkey, Jenny.
She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings.
In addition to her husband of 66 years, Don Barton, Nancy is survived by her daughter, Donnell Barton; several nieces and nephews and their families; and her many friends.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Humane Society of North Texas, in her memory.
