Fort Worth, Texas - Myra Lee Green Barnett passed away Sunday evening, December 26, following a brief illness. She was 86. Following a Service at the Grave on Thursday, December 30, in Ahavath Sholom Cemetery, she was laid to rest next to her husband, Stanley. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Myra was the daughter of Harry and Bertha Bartak Green. She grew up in Gary, Indiana and Tulsa, Oklahoma before moving to Fort Worth in 1957 after marrying Stanley Barnett. Together, they loved dancing, gardening, playing bridge and game night with friends. Myra always had the most optimistic outlook on life, no matter what was thrown her way. She took care of many along the way and will be missed by so many family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, brother, Richard Green, and sister, Ruth Becker. Myra loved and is survived by her children, Marc Barnett and Melissa Faver and her husband, David; her grandchildren Shawn and Brent Faver, who were very near and dear to her heart; her brother, Bob Green; special nephews, Danny and Billy Becker; and numerous other nephews, nieces and cousins all over the world. The family very much appreciates all the condolences and outpouring of love already received.
