FORT WORTH -- Mary Pauline Clark Maxwell passed away early Friday morning, June 5, 2015. Mrs. Maxwell was 90 years old. Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel at Robertson Mueller Harper with the Rev. Dr. William M. Longsworth of the First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, James, in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Born Aug. 20, 1924, in Haynesville, La., Mary was the daughter of Paul D. and Florence Rader Clark. She was raised in Turner Town in East Texas where she graduated from Gaston High School. After attending Texas Woman's College in Denton, Mary married James E. Maxwell on July 24, 1943. The family lived in Fort Worth from 1943 until 1961 when the family moved to Aledo. Mary lived a wonderful life, very caring to her family and all of her friends. Her professional life included working for Central Airlines and Stratoflex. The family wishes to express its thanks to her caregiver, Maria Morales, who kept her spirit up. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, who died in 2000. Survivors: Mary is survived by her sons, Dr. James P. Maxwell and his wife, Eunjoo, of Haslet, Eben L. Maxwell of Dallas and Cody C. Maxwell and his wife, Jenelle, of Aledo; grandchildren, Shawnee, Lakota, Cody J., Auril and Cobin Maxwell; great-grandson, Wyatt Maxwell; and her Chihuahua, Gizmo.
