Mrs. MARY ELIZABETH "Betty" FERGUSON

FORT WORTH -- Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Ferguson passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, January 8, 2018. Mrs. Ferguson was 92. Service: 2 p.m. Monday at the grave in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Betty graduated from TCU and worked in day care licensing for the State of Texas in Odessa and in the DFW area. She also served as a Docent at the Fort Worth Zoo for more than 20 years. She dearly loved all cats. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vera and Afton Lawson and her husband, Temple B. Ferguson. Survivors: Betty is survived by her children, Teddye Pearcy and her husband, John, Bill Ferguson, Tom Ferguson, Paul Ferguson and his wife, Lynda, and Shannon Taylor; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Fort Worth Zoo or SPCA, in her memory, is suggested.
