Born March 20, 1933 in Wiggins, Miss., Carolyn was the daughter of Carroll and Eunice Colville. She grew up in Pascagoula, Miss. and after graduating Salutatorian from her high school, she studied nursing at Tulane University in New Orleans. Carolyn met Lee Goodman Jr. at the Dairy Queen. She worked, while Lee finished college at ACC and then devoted her life to their 3 children and community service organizations. Carolyn was the National PTA president for many years and later devoted her time to the Associated Women for Christian education. She taught bible class for over 40 years and her strong faith led her to selflessly serve others throughout her life. She was well known for her "Card Ministry" which blessed a number of people. Carolyn and Lee were active members at The Hills Church of Christ for 35 years and the Meadowbrook Church of Christ for 25 years before that. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her brother, James C. “Jim” Colville.
