Mrs. MARGIE GREGORY KLAR

Austin, Texas -- Margie, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother died peacefully Saturday morning, June 12. Mrs. Klar was 96. Service: Following a committal service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 8, she will be laid to rest in the Beth-El Section of Greenwood Memorial Park. All wishing to celebrate her life are welcome to attend. The daughter of to John and Beatrice Seale Gregory, Margie grew up in Burleson. She graduated from Burleson High School and attended TCU, after which, she was a life-long resident of Fort Worth. Margie traveled the world extensively and was an accomplished ham radio operator. She enjoyed supporting her beloved TCU Horned Frogs by attending home football games with her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Joel Klar. Survivors: In addition to her daughter, Pamela Klar Scott of Austin, Margie is survived by her grandson, Christopher Scott, his wife, Stephanie, and their two children, Addison and Garrett, all of Round Rock. She will be missed by several cousins and many close friends. Memorials: Consideration of contributions to a charity of your choice, in Margie’s memory, is suggested.
