Mr. MARCUS WARREN "Mark" SANDS

FORT WORTH -- Marcus Warren Sands passed away Saturday afternoon, Feb. 15, 2014. Mr. Sands was 59 years old. Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel at Robertson Mueller Harper. At 3 p.m. Tuesday, Mark's cremated remains will be placed with those of his mother, Inez, in the Mausoleum at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Dallas. Memorials: Consideration of contributions to DFW Beagle Buddies, www.dfwbeaglebuddies.org., in his memory, is suggested. "Mark loved his Beagles!" Born in Fort Worth on April 8, 1954, Mark was the son of Inez and Robert Brooks Sands Jr., D.D.S., both of whom preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Eastern Hills High School and Stephen F. Austin University. Mark worked in sales for the vast majority of his life. He had just recently started a business alongside his stepdaughter, Monica, with Ambit energy. He enjoyed bowling, classic rock music, playing the guitar and spending time with his beloved dogs, Missy and Buddy. Survivors: In addition to the 20-year love of his life, Patricia Kay Moser, Mark is survived by her children, Monica D. Adamson of Euless and Donlyn Turnbull of Sacramento, Calif.; Patricia's grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he considered his own, Ashley and Jason Gomez, Cody and Monica J. Adamson, Jordan Adamson, Nora Souza and Kinsey and Grayson Jones, Tristan, Brayden, Aubrey and Avery; sister, Debbie Sands Carson of Dallas; brother, Bob Sands and04/08 his wife, Karen, of Fort Worth and their children.
