FORT WORTH -- Linda Susan Much passed away Friday evening, August 10, 2018. She was 64. SERVICE: A celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m. Friday, August 24, at the Marty Leonard Community Chapel, 3131 Sanguinet Street. There will be a reception immediately following the memorial service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, contributions to Arts 5th Avenue (www.artsfifthavenue.org/donate.html or 817-923-9500) are suggested, so that her legacy and commitment to the arts in our area may be carried forward. Born October 28, 1953, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Linda was the daughter of Simon Bernard and Carol Joyce Morgan Much. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Miami in 1974 and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Texas Christian University in 1976. As a licensed psychological therapist specializing in marriage counseling, juvenile behavior, and addiction for more than 40 years, Linda was adored by her patients. She especially enjoyed working with teenagers. From a young age, Linda loved to perform. She had a vast theatre resumé as an actor and director in theatres across the D/FW area including Fort Worth Theatre, Stage West, Hip Pocket Theatre, and DragStrip Courage. Always a mentor, Linda was beloved by young aspiring actors and taught amazing workshops at the Texas Thespian Convention. Linda will be remembered most for her infectious laugh, lightning sharp wit, and insistence on telling it like it is. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved grandmother. SURVIVORS: In addition to her brother Shimon Gil and nephew Maayan Gil, Linda is survived by an extended family, many dear friends, and her beloved cat, Miracle.
