FORT WORTH -- Lillian Ellen Schwartz Dwortz died peacefully Saturday morning, May 25, 2013, during her 90th year. Service: Following committal prayers at 2 p.m. Sunday in Ahavath Sholom Cemetery, she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Max, who died in 1996. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to Congregation Ahavath Sholom or a charity of one's choice, in her memory, is suggested. A life resident of Fort Worth, Lilly was born Feb. 22, 1923, the daughter of Isaac and Rose Flaster Schwartz. She was a longtime member of Congregation Ahavath Sholom, B'nai B'rith, and worked for many years for Fort Worth Steel & Machinery which became Martin Sprocket & Gear. Survivors: In addition to her children, David and Leslie Dwortz and Carol and James Casey, all of Fort Worth, Lilly is survived by her grandchildren, Sara Dwortz Rawls and James, Susan Dwortz and Rebekah Casey Rickman and John; great-granddaughters, Katelyn Rawls and Bella Rickman; and nieces and nephews and their families.
