LEONARD WYATT

FORT WORTH -- Leonard Truman Wyatt died peacefully Saturday morning, March 30, 2013, during his 84th year. Service at the Grave: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Jenkins Springs Cemetery, Brown County. Visitation: Family and friends will gather 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Great Room at Robertson Mueller Harper. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the Humane Society of North Texas, in his memory, is suggested. Born in Brown County on Nov. 27, 1928, Leonard was the son of Garland Marion and Sena Thelma Chrane Wyatt. He was a 1946 graduate of Early High School and moved to Fort Worth where he spent the rest of his life. Leonard served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, from 1950 to 1952. He was a longtime member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church and worked for J.E. Foster Co. and Ryan Mortgage before retiring from Volkswagen of America in 1988. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Loyd, all of Brownwood. Survivors: In addition to his brothers and their wives, C.M. and Jean Wyatt of Garland and Alton and Joyce Wyatt of Early, Leonard is survived by his nephews, Tim Wyatt of Plano and Ricky Wyatt and his wife, Kay, of Royce City; three great-nieces; a great- nephew; one great-great-niece; and eight great-great nephews.
