Mr. JULIUS CECIL "JC" WATKINS

FORT WORTH – Julius Cecil “JC” Watkins, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, March 13. Mr. Watkins was 89. SERVICE: Noon Saturday in Bear Creek Cemetery, Euless. Family and friends will gather from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Great Room at Robertson Mueller Harper. “PePaw to All,” JC was born September 21, 1928 in Cookville, the son of Grady and Josie Daniels Watkins. He married Dorlis James Cheek on May 7, 1947. JC proudly served in the U. S. Army and Texas National Guard. He was a truck driver until retiring in 2009. SURVIVORS: In addition to his wife of 72 years, Dorlis, and son, Jackie, JC is survived by his granddaughters and their husbands, Brittany and Gregg Banks and Lori and Mike Hinton; great-grandchildren, Kenadie and Peightyn Banks and Rogan, Brylee and Grace Hinton; and nieces and nephews and their families.
