Fort Worth, Texas – Judy Carson passed away peacefully at her home Friday morning, October 8. Family and friends will gather from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Great Room at Robertson Mueller Harper. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Bob, in Electra Cemetery, Electra. Born in Electra, Judy was the daughter of Leroy and Fannie Christoph Reynolds. She graduated from Texas Christian University where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. Judy taught American History at several Fort Worth schools before retiring from McLean Middle School. A longtime member of Broadway Baptist Church and its Library Guild, Judy was also a member of The Woman’s Club of Fort Worth, the Retired Teachers Association and was a former member of the Petroleum Club of Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Cary Carson II, who died in 2013. In addition to her children, Chris Carson and his wife, Kelly, and Cari DuBose and her husband, Kevin, Judy is survived by her grandchildren, Topher Carson and Parker and Caroline DuBose.
