Ms. JUDA CAROL BODIFORD SANDS

FORT WORTH – Juda Bodiford Sands passed away, July 5, 2018. SERVICE: A celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Marty Leonard Community Chapel, 3131 Sanguinet Street. MEMORIALS: Cancer is a brutal foe. Juda treasured he life and knew she had a fortunate one so she wanted donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in lieu of flowers. She wanted children to have the opportunity to enjoy their life as she enjoyed hers for so many years. Juda was born to Cleo and Orva Bodiford on February 16, 1943. She had two sisters: Debra Murray, husband, Mark, and Ronda Cain, husband, Rick. Juda had three nephews: Neal Murray, John Tyler Cain and Conner Cain. Juda had two sons. The eldest is Shep Sands, wife, Traci, and their son, Cayce. The youngest is John David Sands, wife, Erica, and their children, Carter, Chloe and Catherine. Juda had a large caring family of cousins and dear friends. Juda’s presence was always known. She was loving, kind, compassionate, and highly intelligent. She was very devoted to her family. Juda touched so many people’s hearts and she cherished her many friendships. The outpouring of compassion from those who knew and loved her was a testament to her character.
