FORT WORTH -- Jerry Allan Paul, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, Feb. 2, 2017. Mr. Paul was 69. Service: 11 a.m. Sunday in the Kornbleet Memorial Cemetery Chapel located in Ahavath Sholom Cemetery, 411 N. University Drive. Interment to follow in the cemetery. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to Jewish Family Services, 4049 Kingsridge Road, Fort Worth, TX 76109, or to a charity of choice, in his memory, is suggested. Born in Fort Worth on May 1, 1947, Jerry was the son of Herbert Isadore and Blanche Celia Prager Paul. He graduated from R. L. Paschal High School before attending and receiving a bachelor's degree for the University of North Texas, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity. Following college, Jerry returned to Fort Worth where he joined the family business, Dub's Auto Parts. He was a member of Congregation Ahavath Sholom and enjoyed swimming and scuba diving, watching movies and playing card games. But, mostly, Jerry loved his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steven Michael Paul. Survivors: In addition to his wife of 45 years, Randy, Jerry is survived by his children, Stephanie Paul-Shukis and her husband, Peter, and Brett Allan Paul; grandson, Patrick Shukis; sister, Lana and her husband, Craig Armstrong; brothers, Richard and Tommy Paul and his wife, Karen; and nieces, nephews and cousins and their families.
