Fort Worth, Texas – Idelle Engelberg Luskey was born in Dallas, the daughter of Louis and Sarah Schwartz Engelberg. She lived a joyful and happy life, marrying her true love and favorite dance partner, David Luskey, who preceded her in death.
She and David had many true friends for decades, playing mahjong, traveling, playing golf and always dancing. Now they will dance together again.
She is survived by her two children, Debra Luskey Shtofman and her husband, Michael, and Michael Luskey and his wife, Amy. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Kevin and Katie Shtofman and Scott Shtofman and Andy Cooley, and Alyson and Madelyn Luskey; and great-grandchildren, Charlie and Henry Shtofman and Avery, Lily and Margot Shtofman.
A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, October 29, in the Kornbleet Memorial Chapel located in Ahavath Sholom Cemetery. Following committal prayers, she was laid to rest next to her husband, David, in the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to a charity of choice, in her memory, is suggested.
