Born in Fort Worth, Texas, to parents, Ethridge Ford “Sam” Cobb and Judith Pease Cobb. She was big sister to two brothers, Tyler Cobb and Trey Cobb. The family moved to Lafayette, Louisiana where Heidi began the first grade. They cherished the Cajun food and laissez faire way of life. Texas has a way of calling you back, though, so the family returned to Texas, first to Fort Worth then to Weatherford.
Having graduated Lafayette High School, Class of ’82, Heidi attended TCU and studied theater arts, costuming in particular. She worked at Casa Mañana Summer Productions and Fort Worth Theater with Bill Garber. She then joined the family antique business, Pease & Cobb, and became a certified appraiser.
Heidi was known for her kind heart, love of family, and a more loyal friend no person ever had. She was preceded in death by her father.
In addition to her mother and two brothers, Heidi is survived by a nephew, Bryson, and niece, Emmi, whom she loved dearly; cousins, Andrea Rotman, Karissa Bledsoe, Danny Cobb, Steve Cobb, Rob Joyce, all of Texas, and Jo Hardy of Idaho; and dearest lifelong friend, Laura Pointer Harris of Sunset, Louisiana.
