FORT WORTH – Gary Hayden Reed passed away Monday afternoon, January 1, 2018. Hayden was 14. SERVICE: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1800 West Freeway, with the Rev. John Messmann, pastor of the church, officiating. A service in the cemetery will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Bradfield Chapel Cemetery in Hughes Springs. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the Vintage Flying Museum, 505 NW 38th Street, #33s, Fort Worth, Texas 76106, www.vintageflyingmuseum.org, in his memory, is suggested. Born in January 20, 2003 in Longview, Hayden was the son of Lester K. Reed and Meredith Camp Marshall and her husband, Mark. After graduating from St. Paul School, he attended Fort Worth Christian School. Hayden was an active member of Boy Scout Troop 326 and volunteered at the Vintage Flying Museum. He was an avid World War II enthusiast, loving tanks, airplanes and anything military! He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Deborah Shue, and Billy Marshall. SURVIVORS: In addition to his parents, Hayden is survived by his sister, Olivia “Monkey” Reed; brother, Nathan William Reed; grandparents, James Lynn Reed, Gary and Mary Camp and Colatha Marshall; extended family, Cade Swan, Leah Marshall, Nicholas Marshall, Jake Skyles and Brittany Urash; and aunts, uncles and cousins and their families.
