FORT WORTH -- Eudora Catherine Aven Blair passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, May 6, 2015. Mrs. Blair was 95 years old. Service: 10 a.m. Monday in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Family and friends will gather from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Great Room at Robertson Mueller Harper. Born July 3, 1919 in Denison, Eudora was the fifth of eight children. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas and soon after married James Blair, who died in 1978. Eudora was a devout Christian who served God at the Burleson Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Elizabeth Jones; granddaughter, Kim; and four brothers and two sisters. Her family wishes to thank the wonderful people at Southwest Nursing & Rehab Center for the many kindnesses and loving care Eudora received during her stay. Survivors: In addition to her sons, Terry Blair and James Blair and his wife, Sherl, Eudora is survived by her daughter, Priscilla Brown and her husband, Joe; twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Jane Packard and her husband, Bob; many nieces and nephews and their families; and a host of friends. Already, she is dearly missed.
