Fort Worth, Texas - Erin Leigh Tuggle was born on November 2, 1977 and departed from this life on May 2, 2022. Born in Fort Worth, she attended Arlington Heights High School and Nicholls State University, earning a BBA in Accounting and minor in Culinary Arts.
A beloved teacher at TA Sims Elementary, Erin was devoted to her students, always coming up with new ways to make their learning fun and engaging. She touched the lives of many students in her 12 years at TA Sims. Her generosity of spirit was embodied in her devotion to her Altruismo teammates.
Erin never met a stranger; she loved all people and believed we should all have acceptance and compassion for everyone, regardless of where they came from or who they were. She loved her Italian heritage and was an excellent cook. She adored traveling and having adventures with the people she loved.
More than anything, Erin was so incredibly devoted to her family. She was our light, our heart and our mind; we are completely shattered that she left us and so many beautiful friends behind. She was the glue that held our family together. We will miss her smile, her laughter and her beauty for all of eternity.
She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents and uncles, Kirk White and Terry Tuggle.
Erin is survived by her mother, Toni Paschal and her partner, Manzy Simms; her father, Rick Tuggle and his wife, Denise; her brother, Nick Tuggle and niece, Mackenzie; her sister, Lindsay Tuggle. She is also survived by her stepmother, Karen Hatch and her husband, Gordon; her uncle, Rudy Tuggle, cousins Bob, Kathy, Regan, Lorin, Sandra, Jamie, Nikki, Natalie, Camille, Allen and Blake; and dearest friends, Gabriel Ochoa, Keri Hall Volmert, and Joshua Oderberg.
