FORT WORTH -- Emma Lee Young Hill passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, Jan. 1, 2017, with her daughter at her side. Mrs. Hill was 90. Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel at Robertson Mueller Harper. Family and friends will gather from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Following a service at the grave at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur, Emma will be laid to rest next to her husband, Bill, and daughter, Paula Christopherson. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the All Church Home for Children Foundation or a library of your choice, in her memory, is suggested. Emma was born April 14, 1926, daughter of Johnnie Farlie and Effie Dulsa Brown Young. She attended Decatur High School where she met William T. "Bill" Hill Jr.; they married in Colorado Springs in 1950. Emma was ever supportive and loving of her family, and she remained sweet and gracious throughout her life. Survivors: In addition to her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and William B. "Bill" Rose Jr. of Fort Worth, Emma was grandmother to Elizabeth Rose of Houston, Will Rose of Fort Worth and Bryan Christopherson of Biloxi, Miss. She is also survived by many other loved family members.
