FORT WORTH -- Eleonora Lichtman Bond lost a hard-fought battle with lymphoma Wednesday morning, April 15, 2015. Mrs. Bond was 67 years old. Service: 10 a.m. Friday in the Kornbleet Memorial Cemetery Chapel, in Ahavath Sholom Cemetery, 411 N. University Drive, with Rabbi Andrew Bloom officiating. Following committal prayers, she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Jack, who died in 2000. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to a charity of choice, in her memory, is suggested. Eleonora Lichtman Bond, born Jan. 15, 1948, in Johannesburg, South Africa, set up shop in Fort Worth as a beautician. She was a strong woman, devoted to her family, mahjong and the Jewish community. Survivors: In addition to her husband, Ed Bond, Eleonora is survived by her children, Jay Marks and Heidi Marks Benenson and her husband, Herb; grandchildren, Jenna and Macy; brother, Joe Silansky and his wife, Maureen; and nieces and nephews, including Bonita Gluckman, and their families.
