EDMOND DAVIS "Eddie" WOODARD

Fort Worth, Texas - Eddie Woodard, the son of Jennie B. and V.E. "Woody" Woodard, was sent to join his heavenly Father on July 15, 2022.
A Service at the Grave will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, in Greenwood Memorial Park
Eddie was a lifelong resident of Fort Worth. He attended Polytechnic High School, Texas Tech College and Baylor University for his education. Eddie found his lifelong love and was married to Joyce Woodard on November 10, 1950, celebrating 72 wonderful years together.
Eddie spent his years working at a local family owned hardware business founded by his father and then his two sons and more recently his two grandsons. He retired from the business in 2010. Eddie was a member of the DHI Door and Hardware Institute, the Moslah Temple Shrine, the Moslah Temple Patrol Unit and the Royal Order of Jesters, Court 32 and the Scottish Rite.
Survivors: Wife, Zanoni Joyce Woodard; daughter, Jennifer Dionisi and husband, Joe; sons, Edmond Davis Woodard, Jr. and wife, Linda, Gene Woodard and wife, Cathy; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
Memorials: Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary or Shriners Hospital for Children.
