FORT WORTH -- Edmond John Cumming, beloved husband, son and brother, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday morning, May 8, 2013, during his 65th year, after a courageous battle against cancer. Family and friends will remember Ed's life privately. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association, in his memory, is suggested. A life resident of Fort Worth, Ed was the son of Floyd Edmond and Gertrude Faye Sanders Cumming, who preceded in him in death. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and graduated from Tarrant County and Brookhaven colleges. During his lifetime, Ed worked in the aeronautical and automotive industries. He enjoyed drag racing his Pontiacs! Survivors: In addition to his loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Sharyn Ann Domet Cumming, Ed is survived by his sisters, Wanda Putnam and Rebecca Esst.
