FORT WORTH -- Donald Wolf, 87, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 15, 2015, following a brief illness. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in the Kornbleet Memorial Chapel at Ahavath Sholom Cemetery, 411 N. University Drive, with Rabbi Andrew Bloom and Cantor Shoshana Abrams Kaikov officiating. Memorials: Donations may be made to the Sara F. Donald was born June 14, 1928, in Fort Worth where he attended Northside High School. Donald spent many years working in the Fort Worth Stockyards for Swift & Company. Later in life, he pursued his passion for music as an entertainer. Donald played the piano and sang for many local nightclubs, weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Fort Worth living rooms and retirement homes. His bright spirit and happy heart were most apparent in his music. He was a charitable man and gave many hours of community service to help the elderly. He had the ability to bring much joy to many people. Donald was dedicated to cultivating the benefits of good health and was a lifelong member of the Fort Worth YMCA. He was a man of strong faith and a member of the Congregation Ahavath Sholom. Donald will always be missed and remembered. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Sara Faye Gassman of Maitland, Fla., and Norman Wolf of Fort Worth. Survivors: Donald is survived by his two sons, Henry Stephen Wolf of Boerne and Rick Wolf; stepchildren, Marie Nicholson and Charlie Brown; and loving former spouse, Jean Selner, all of Fort Worth.
