Diann Tavender Stadler passed away in her sleep Sunday, February 21. She was 65. Born in Fort Worth Diann was the daughter of Roy and Ann Graham Tavender. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority at TCU, the Fort Worth Garden Club, and The Junior League of Fort Worth. A talented needlepointer, her work can be found at The National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., First United Methodist Church and Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her father Roy Tavender, her step-father, Jack Sutherland, and father-in-law, Dr. Earl Stadler. In addition to her husband, Chris, Diann is survived by her sons, Christian Stadler and his wife, Lauren, and Graham Stadler; her mother, Ann Sutherland; brother, Edward Graham Tavender; mother-in-law, Florian Stadler; and friends and extended family too numerous to name. A celebration of her life will be held on a future date. In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to The Humane Society of North Texas, the Susan G. Komen Foundation or a charity of choice, in her memory, is suggested.
