Fort Worth, Texas - Dawn Christine Anderson passed away Friday afternoon, May 20, of complications related to a massive heart attack, just three days before her 50th birthday.
Family and friends will gather from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday in the Great Room at Robertson Mueller Harper. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the Grave on Friday at 11:00 am at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Born in Tye, Texas to John D. and Catherine Debby Sanders Kitchens, she grew up in Texas and had a variety of careers. The one she enjoyed the most was being a nurse and assisting the elderly. Dawn loved her family and friends with a passion and had a very caring soul.
In addition to her children, Christopher Anderson and his wife, Jordan, Courtney Kitchens, and Autumn Driggers, Dawn is survived by her mother, Debby McGrew of Sugar Land; her sister Bonnie Lopez and Jose Alvarez also of Sugar Land; her brothers and their wives, Jason McGrew and Keely of Pearland, and Troy Moore and Michelle of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
