Mr. BOBBIE RAY PAFFORD

FORT WORTH -- Bobbie Ray Pafford died peacefully Sunday morning, Oct. 19, 2014. Retired Air Force Master Sgt. Pafford was 81 years old. Service: Military honors, 3 p.m. Thursday in China Creek Cemetery, Harkeyville, San Saba County. Born July 27, 1933, in San Saba, Bobbie Ray was the son of Naomi Clark and Raymond Pafford Sr. Following tours of duty in Korea and Vietnam, he retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents and a number of brothers and sisters. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Hazel, Bobbie Ray is survived by his stepchildren, Nina Lauderdale of Midland, Butch Pafford of Fort Worth, Darlene McFarland and her husband, Dale, of Crowley, and Tim Pafford and his wife, Kim, of Everman; brother, Richard Pafford and his wife, LaRue, of Turnersville; sister, Patricia Alsip and her husband, Jerry, of Lorena; and several nieces and nephews and their families.
