FORT WORTH -- Betty Lou Hickey Woods died peacefully Saturday afternoon, July 14, 2012, at her home near Springtown during her 62nd year. Visitation: Family and friends will gather 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Great Room at Robertson Mueller Harper. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the American Heart Association or to a charity of one's choice, in her memory, is suggested. Affectionately known as "Boo," Betty was a lifelong resident of the TCU area of Fort Worth. She retired after many years at Sears. She was preceded in death by her parents, Justin and Mary Lou Hickey, and brother, Jay. Survivors: In addition to her children, Sandy Woods Wallis and Jeff Woods, Boo is survived by her grandchildren, Cody Woods, Tyler Wallis and Bradley Pickle; sister, Gwen Hickey Ward; brother, Carl Hickey; and legions of caring friends.
