FORT WORTH -- Betty Alice Ingle Dieb passed away peacefully in her home Monday morning, Nov. 28, 2016. Mrs. Dieb was 87. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 3550 SW Loop 820 with a reception to follow in the church's Parish Hall. She will be laid to rest privately in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to a charity of choice, in her memory, is suggested. A lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Betty was born Nov. 5, 1929, the daughter of Lester and Olivia Greer Ingle. She graduated from R. L. Paschal High School and Texas Christian University with a B.F.A. in speech and drama. During her school years, she was active in The Rainbow Girl organization and served as Grand Worthy Advisor of Texas in 1949. Betty and John Dieb were married 65 years and raised three beautiful daughters. She taught at the Casa Manana Playhouse School for eight years and taught pre-school at St. Christopher's Episcopal for sixteen years. As a devoted church member, she volunteered in many capacities through the years. Betty was a member of Aquarius in the Woman's Club of Fort Worth and TCU Women Exes. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Julie Doyle; and brother, Raymond Hedge. Survivors: In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her daughters, Debbie Dieb and Karla Cross and her husband, Rick; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
