Mrs. BARBARA ERNESINE "Bobbie" FREID

FORT WORTH -- Barbara Ernestine Hardin Freid died peacefully Saturday morning, Feb. 8, 2014. She was 88 years old. Memorial service: 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel at Beth-El Congregation, 4900 Briarhaven Road. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the Humane Society of North Texas, Hadassah, the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of choice, in her memory, is suggested. Born and raised in Paris, Tenn., Bobbie was the daughter of Johnie and Ora Ann Morris Hardin. Formerly of Lubbock, she was the beloved wife of the late Sidney D. Freid. Her family wishes to express sincere appreciation to the staff at Trail Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care Bobbie received. Survivors: In addition to her children, Lynn Fobes and her husband, Jack, Charles Freid and his wife, Cathy, and John Freid and his wife, Terry, she was the beloved grandmother of five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
