BENBROOK -- Anne Bradshaw Rich went home to be with our Lord Tuesday morning, Nov. 17, 2015, after a brief illness. Mrs. Rich was 81 years old. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Southcliff Baptist Church, 4100 SW Loop 820. She will be laid to rest in Greenwood Memorial Park. Family and friends will gather in the Great Room at Robertson Mueller Harper from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. Born April 11, 1934 in McKinney, Anne was the daughter of the Rev. G.B. and Mary Jewell Sockwell Bradshaw. She was a graduate of the 1952 class of Bowie High School. She received her Associates of Arts degree at Decatur Baptist College in 1954, before marrying the love of her life and husband of 61 years, James M. Rich, on August 7th, 1954. After starting her career in education, Anne discovered her entrepreneurial spirit and proceeded to become the co-owner and operator of TJ's Hamburgers, vice-president of Rich Homes, Inc. and owner and operator of Mail Services, Etc. over a 30 year career. Anne meant the world to her many friends and family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a faithful member of the Early Bird Sunday School class and Senior Church Choir at Southcliff Baptist Church. In addition, she was the Outreach Leader for the Early Bird Sunday School class. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Ruth Bradshaw, and brothers, Buren J. and Charles W. Bradshaw. Survivors: She is lovingly remembered and survived by her husband Jim; son, Randy Rich and his wife, Sylvia; daughter, Robyn Rich Martin and her husband, Greg; granddaughter, Shiloh Rich Marston and her husband, David; great-grandson, Jace Marston; sister, Mary Bradshaw; and many nieces and nephews and their families who loved her dearly.
