Mrs. ANNA JOAN POMPO PAPA

FORT WORTH -- Anna Joan Pompo Papa, loving wife, mother and grandmother, died peacefully Tuesday morning, April 8, 2014. Mrs. Papa was 88 years old. Service: 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Greenwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Father Jeff Poirot of Holy Family Catholic Church officiating. Visitation: Family and friends will gather 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the Drawing Room before proceeding to the cemetery. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Oct. 9, 1925, Anna was the daughter of Rocco and Antoinette Pompo. She and her late husband, Frank, moved to Fort Worth in 2013. Survivors: In addition to her children, Dr. Tracy and Frank Papa Jr. and Nicholas Papa, Anna is survived by her grandchildren, Andrew Wells and Nicholas, Francesca and Alessandra Papa; and nieces and nephews and their families.
