FORT WORTH -- Anita Bronstein Robin died peacefully Wednesday morning, Nov. 21, 2012, during her 90th year. Service: 11 a.m. Friday in Ahavath Sholom Cemetery, 411 N. University Drive, with Rabbi Andrew Bloom and Cantor Shoshana Abrams officiating. Following committal prayers, she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Bert, who died in 1986. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or to a charity of one's choice, in her memory, is suggested. Born in Chicago, Ill., on Sept. 10, 1922, Anita was the daughter of Jacob and Dora Schulman Bronstein. She married Bert Robin on Sept. 4, 1945, and moved to Dallas where together, they operated a successful business and raised their two sons. Anita and Bert moved to Fort Worth in 1965 where they owned Robin Furniture and Appliance until Bert's retirement in 1983. They were longtime members of Congregation Ahavath Sholom. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Bert and Anita enjoyed bowling, boating and traveling. Anita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who unselfishly shared her home for many years with Bert's mother, Helen, and sister, Edythe. The family is most grateful for the love and care Anita received from the staff at Stonegate Nursing Center and Odyssey Hospice. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters, Pauline Pierce and Syril Bach.
